Zalmoxes was a rhabdodontid ornithopod dinosaur that lived in what is now Romania during the Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous period. Originally described by Franz Nopcsa in 1899 as Mochlodon robustum, it was later reclassified before being recognized as its own genus, Zalmoxes. This scientifically accurate sculpture is handmade from clay over an aluminum skeleton and finished with acrylic paint and hand-painted details.
